Redefining Minimalism

Understanding what is truly important to you, and what is a borrowed idea from the world.

Redefining Minimalism book cover by Ajay and Poulomi: a hiker walking through snowy mountains

What the book is about

Not a book about owning less. A book about choosing better.

No matter how much we add, something still feels off. This book helps you gain clarity, focus & freedom to do and be more of what you always wanted to be in life.

The book talks about how to remove the clutter from the 5 core areas of your life and focus on what matters.

01

Emotional

Boundaries with family, friends and work. Letting go of what you carry.

02

Professional

Real goals, fewer tasks, and why multitasking is a myth.

03

Financial

How much is enough, where the leak is, and spending on what you value.

04

Digital

Messages, email, calls and screens. Get your attention back.

05

Physical

Clothes, gifts, drawers and status symbols. Keep what earns its place.

Questions it asks

The ones most of us never stop long enough to ask.

Because you were meant to live the life of your dreams, not someone else's.

Redefining Minimalism
  1. 01What is really causing the chaos in your life?
  2. 02Which of your dreams are truly yours, and which have you borrowed?

  4. 04How do you get your attention span back and be truly present?
  5. 05How much do you truly need?

It has always been difficult for me to talk about myself. I am more today than I was yesterday, and tomorrow I will be better. Still, let me summarise where I stand today.

I am a son, husband, father, friend, mentor, and sometimes just myself. I love starting my day with books and coffee, contributing to the world through the professional skills I keep building, and ending it with ghazals and friends.

A minimalist by heart, an entrepreneur by profession, and a speaker by nature, I have built four business organisations with my wonderful team, across marketing, technology, education and minimalism.

Beyond business, I run a readers’ club and a fitness club, helping people build the habits of reading and exercise. I also host Simple Saturdays, where I offer mentorship to young people in need of guidance.

As a speaker on minimalism and AI, I help people gain clarity, focus and freedom. Through Redefining Minimalism, I try to make life simpler, more peaceful and more meaningful. With every blog, newsletter, e-book and book, my motto has stayed the same: to contribute.

Keep smiling. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep sharing.

I grew up across the NorthEastern states of India, belonging to a generation who saw life before globalisation and social media, and grew alongside the transition as it evolved in leaps and bounds. Multi-passionate by nature, I now work as a solopreneur globally with purpose-driven brands, across fields I didn’t know could exist a decade ago.

“this is how things are supposed to be” is probably one statement I’ve rebelled with the most. For most part of my life, I had clarity towards my dreams and wished the same for people around me. It became a non-negotiable to find the full circle between the prize you wish for from life and the price you pay for the same.

Initially through content writing, and reading, I came across the Japanese & Scandinavian philosophies of having that clarity in life. Later on through minimalisTee newsletters & e-books I was blessed with the opportunities to spread the word further. All of us have our versions of dream life, helping to remove the noise & gain clarity on the same has become my drive.

minimalisTee came along in 2023, and I began working on its newsletters. After two and a half years of having this as the anchor of my life, curating newsletters, e-books and everything in between, I was brought in as co-founder in 2026, to help spread our purpose further: helping people live the life they wish to live.
